Hadimba Devi Temple is located in Manali in the hill state Himachal Pradesh of India. It is on the distance of 2.5 km (9 min) from the main Mall Road, 42.4 km (43 min) from Kullu, and it is 3360 meters in height from sea level. This temple is located in village Dungri of Manali, it is surrounded by old tall pine trees, which make the place extremely beautiful. Big stones in the dense forest around the temple enhance the beauty of its forest even more. This is a very famous place among the sightseeing places of Manali. All the tourists come to visit the temple, the temple is built with large logs of wood and big stone, which is a specimen of the art of the ancient artwork. The upper part of the temple is built in a conical shape that is covered with stones. The large horns of the animals can be seen fixed on the outer walls of the temple, which were once used for sacrifice here.

It is said that Hadimba was most kind and liberal demonic when Ghatotkacha was born she handed over everything to him and she used to do penance sitting on a big rock till the last moments of her life. The descriptions are seen in the literature of Mahabarata, that when the war of Mahabharata was going on, Ghatotkacha also contributed as a great warrior in the war, and he got martyred in the war.
